Rustling of fabric

The rush of getting ready

Cars roar past

As we make our way down the highway

Voices blend together

Hallways seem to close in

Sharp ringing of the bell

Eight times in one day

Dragging of the chalk

As the teachers write across the boards

Sounds all merging together

It starts to turn to a buzz
